Goose Jumped INTO The Cart...

Rick “Wolfpack” Danner here.

I’ve reviewed the footage extensively, and I can confidently rule out navigation error. The goose had the entire sky available, yet deliberately selected the occupied golf cart as its point of entry. That’s not poor flying. That’s target acquisition. The approach angle, timing, and commitment indicate the bird had already decided the golfers were about to become participants in an unscheduled wildlife exercise.

The golfers never had a realistic chance because they were preparing for golf, not interior avian operations. By the time the first wing entered the cart, the driver’s brain had already been reassigned from transportation to immediate survival. Once a goose begins flapping inside an enclosed moving vehicle, every human priority is instantly replaced with “make the goose become somebody else’s problem.”

I’ve seen this level of commitment before when an elk exploded out of a tree line, crossed directly in front of a moving golf cart, and accidentally convinced the driver to continue straight into a pond. Different species. Same strategy. Introduce one unexpected animal, and the humans will gladly finish the incident themselves.

My conclusion remains unchanged: geese don’t accidentally enter moving golf carts. They conduct inspections.

Field note: geese don’t accidentally enter moving golf carts. They conduct inspections.

Story

What happened

A group of golfers is driving toward the next hole when a goose suddenly flies directly into the moving golf cart. The bird flaps wildly around the occupants, startling the driver before quickly exiting and allowing everyone to regain control.

Why it works

The chaos moment

The clip escalates instantly from a routine cart ride into complete chaos without any warning. Viewers replay it because the goose makes the least logical decision possible, and the golfers’ panicked reactions perfectly match what almost anyone would do in the same situation.
